    According to Ephesians people get reconciled to God when (the) mystery is revealed.

    I guess in the bible there is mystery and then there is mystery – the trick is to figure out which is which.

    I like the comments above. The word revealed sits better with me than explained. In revealing the mystery can still be there – explanation strikes me as exhaustive (in a sense).
