I agree with you when it comes to certain things because children can be very cruel when it comes to the "odd one out".

I cannot clearly discern if you are with or against the things said in the DVD "Clean your house".

It seems that you speak against it by saying that there is nothing wrong with the little mermaid and that there is nothing wrong with spiderman. Could you please clarify this point.

If you want to you can email me to cornelius@resurrectionhouse.co.za. I would like to know more on this subject of cleaning house.

Thank you very much and God Bless.

I "liked" it,but cannot share it yet. In a way it is just too true. I will have to 'digest' this and think about it.(While still participating in the dehumanizing soup kitchen concept!)

Hey Smith,
Good reflection.

You feel like an independent person who is normally giving of himself to help others .
May you learn to accept and to take the good and niceness being offered by the people around you,
You are worthy and deserve it =>

Get well soon!
May you be Happy, healthy and Well always ,
Sean

I find the thoughts on true generosity very challenging and life giving! Your writings triggered some more thoughts in me. I've been thinking about friendship lately, especially within the context of befriending someone different from your own culture and economic group. In that context, I've been thinking that 'friend' is not a title I can bestow on myself: For example, I don't think I can call myself a friend of the poor... Only the person that is the 'other', the 'poor' (and within your text, the 'oppressed') can give me that 'title' in order for it to be true. So, to add to your comments of the oppressed teaching and showing the way, I also think they have the validating role within friendships.
